I must admit, I’m a car enthusiast…
One of my thoughts, once we arrived in Japan, was how different and small the cars are!
This is what we saw on a street right next to our hostel in Akihabara, Tokyo.

This cute little icecream truck made my very first day in Japan and was just a sample of what we would later see during the whole trip.
Tokyo drift is real. Japanese know how to pimp cars. They customize them with some anime stickers, put fluorescent lights that shine awsome at night. Most of them are lowered and even have changed interior. The cars are so unique, you can’t pass by indifferently.

Regular cars look familiar to their European equivalents, but have different brand and are kind of ‘smashed’ as if they would have to fit in narrow roads

Automatic door opening taxis with drivers wearing white gloves. Very pleasant ride.

A smart car park system. Since there’s very little space and heavy traffic, why not park cars vertically. Everything’s computerized.
