The 68th annual Canadian International Air Show took off over Lake Ontario last Saturday! It gathered families, plane enthusiasts and photographers in the waterfront parks and at the beaches. The show run for 3 days over the Canadian Labour Day Weekend and was a part of the closing festivities of Canadian National Exhibition (also known as The Ex).
The American and Canadian pilots and teams, including jet fighters, helicopter rescue team and well known Canadian Forces Snow Birds performed an amazing show. They entertained the crowd with loops, rolls and all sorts of aerial acrobatics. We got a chance to hear a rumble of jet engines overhead and watch tight plane formations in actions. This mix of power and precision thrilled and gave many people, including us, goosebumps 😉 Needless to say, the planes circling the CN Tower in high-speed made the performance even more impressive. Especially when there were people outside the tower!
Can’t wait to watch more and more of these shows and hopefully faster than next year.
